Update from Sophia’s parents: Heart is getting better rhythm to the adjusted pacemaker, one more night in CICU to observe her to make sure it’s holding. Also, chest tub is coming out today and swapping most meds to pills!

From Sophia’s parents: Thanks for all the continued prayers and concern for Sophia. She is continuing to improve. We are still waiting for her heart to return to its normal rhythm so she is not as dependant on the pacemaker. Her doctors are still confident that as the fluid and swelling around her heart continues to be reduced that this will return. She was able to make 3 steps today to sit in a chair. Still has not eaten much but they are still giving her morphine and I think it is upsetting her stomach. Please keep prayers going and we will keep you posted.

Doctor just came by and talked with Greg and Leigh-surgery just got finished and all is well as of now-still like an hour before they can call ICU to see if they can go see Sophia. Praise God!! Thank you for the prayers!

Our BEACON kids learning about the importance of knowing Christ! They also laid hands on our Sophia as she goes tomorrow to try again for surgery! The faith of children blesses us so!!

We can’t wait to see you today! Sunday school @ 10AM, Worship @ 11AM, and tonight at 6PM

UPDATE ON SOPHIA: The doctors had an emergency come in before they were about to operate on Sophia and her surgery has been moved to Friday morning at 6 AM. Let’s keep praying folks! #prayersforsophia

We are in Atlanta with our Sweet Sophia Logue! Church family, lift her and her parents (Greg and Leigh Brown) up in prayer! Sophia is undergoing Complete Open Heart Surgery this morning where they will fix two holes in her heart and repair a valve to her heart! She was all smiles!!! We love our Sophia and her family!

We had a wonderful breakfast this morning as we celebrated our dads!

Such a blessing to have our dads and families in service this morning!
